Security

* Carry a small emergency kit – electrolytes, painkillers (don’t overpack, local options are often better)

Personal recommendations
* Buy mosquito spray locally – local sprays work better against regional insects (e.g. the pink Soffell spray in Asia is very effective)
* Bring a foldable water bottle – refill at water stations; avoid tap water in some countries and check if it’s safe even for brushing teeth > https://amzn.to/4r63BgO
* Airalo – I always recommend getting a low-volume eSIM via Airalo when entering a new country — great for the first few days until you buy a local SIM card. Click the link -> https://airalo.tpx.gr/bv47L6nG
* Backpack A good backpack on your back is half the battle — you need to feel comfortable! I spent a long time searching and am very happy with mine because it can also be opened from the side, which is super handy when you need something from the bottom. click here > https://amzn.to/4oM5XQs
* Camera: I never travel without my cameras. It’s a bit heavy, but totally worth it for me. I taught myself photography with help from friends. This is the one I use: Systemcamera https://amzn.to/3K7OFxV + GoPro https://amzn.to/4o3GCjL + Drone https://amzn.to/3LCrvjR
